  • I love the pictures, makes me wanna dig through my boxes for my pics of england.  Course it also gives me the travel bug…one day:)

  • It must be great living in the midst of all that history. In the states, those buildings would probably have been razed a long time ago to make room for ‘progress’ or a place to park your car.

  • it reminds me
    of wonderlust
    and places

  • The picture of the building called The Crescent, it looks as though there is a room of all glass on the upper left of the photo.  I was wondering if it is all glass.  I think it is my favorite of the photos posted.  I wonder about the insides of each building and just what they were like.  I may have to do some researching.

    Thanks for sharing the photos.

  • I do not know exactly what they mean my using you mind…..Does it involve thinking….because if it does I will have some serious issues with it…

  • Thank you for stopping by my site.  It was a very pleasant surprise to see your comment.  As always I enjoy your site very much.  It’s always so interesting and informative.  I suppose xanga is my window to the world as I have no means to travel outside my home town.  I’m kind of like the Jimmy Stewart character in the movie “Rear Window.” He entertained himself by spying on his neighbors from the rear window of his apartment–I travel through reading my fellow Xangan’s sites.  One day I would like very much to see your part of the world.  Thanks again for stopping in and thank you for your comment.
